The Agriculture and Rural Development for the African Continent online course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the critical role of agriculture in driving economic growth, ending hunger, and reducing poverty within the African continent. By focusing on various aspects of agriculture and rural development, this course aims to empower individuals to contribute to the transformation of rural areas and the overall development of Africa.
My Approach
In this course, I will adopt an integrated and practical approach to explore the different dimensions of agriculture and rural development. The modules will be structured to provide a holistic understanding of the interconnectedness between investment financing, food security, poverty alleviation, trade, climate resilience, and regional performance. I will encourage discussions and case studies, particularly the Zambia case-study, to stimulate critical thinking and foster a collaborative learning environment.
